The Volt 4 is ready and this new generation is aimed at the same type of pilots as its predecessors.
The big news is that it might be the first EN-C 2-liner on the market. About this major innovation, Stephan Stiegler, our designer says: "It took us several years of development to finally design a package that fulfills our own requirements within the EN-C category.
It's not only the allowance to use folding lines in the EN-C that made it possible to certify the Volt 4 in that category – there is much more than this to make a good EN-C glider. We are rather looking at the pilot's demands and then trying to make the glider follow them. Fulfilling the norm is just the final act."
The norm evolves, and so does our Volt!
The Volt 4 is a 2-liner construction and has been tested by the use of folding lines which are now allowed in the EN-C category. The Volt 4 has been certified in size S and the other sizes will quickly follow.
Official launch date: the 12th of February!
